FAQ
Do you take commissions?
I do not take unsolicited commissions at this time. I am an indie author, so I do all my own publishing, writing, marketing, and illustrating. I'll also be a full-time mom this October. Thank you for understanding.
My paperback has NO illustrations. Why is that?
The paperbacks are illustrationless because I wanted to release the story, and the story doesn't need the art (says the artist herself). Fact of the matter is that drawing takes a long time. If I ONLY released illustrated editions, you'd only get one book every 15 months or longer. And I didn't want to stress myself out by needing both the story and the drawings finished.
Illustrated editions will be available through limited editions. Stay up-to-date on my Instagram @hmnnah.art
Do you take ARC readers?
Yes, a few months before any book's official release. Stay up-to-date by following my Instagram Broadcast channel.
Currently, ARC sign-ups are OPEN for Embassy Saints!
What age range do you recommend for The Agapéd Bearer?
I say these books are PG-13, so I recommend 13+ (Lisa's age in Wishing Stars). There is violence and gore, and Lisa deals with heavy loss and the effects of PTSD. As she ages, she will deal with heavier topics. There is no swearing or SMUT, and there never will be.
How many books will there be?
Lisa's adolescent years (ages 13-17) will be four books.
Lisa's young adult years (ages 18-21) will be five books.
Can I read these out of order?
SHORT ANSWER: You can read book 1 first or book 5 first
LONG ANSWER: Books 1-4 are Lisa's adolescent years, almost like the prequels that explain her lore and how she became who she is by the age of eighteen.
Books 5-9 are Lisa's young adult years and begin her new way of life. If you're used to reading fantasy books and would like to skip ahead (skipping much of the world-building and character intros) then you'll be fine reading book 5 first
Are the books translated into other languages?
No, sadly. Book translations are costly for an indie author, and there isn't enough demand for foreign languages in order to cover production costs.
